'Find The Word' is an addictive and fun word puzzle game where you get 6 chances to guess a secret word, using clues and hints provided by the game. Each guess you make will bring new hints to help you find the word.

Solving the word puzzle:

Start the game by typing in a word you can think of that have the same number of letters as there are empty boxes in the first line.
Any fitting word will do.

Pro tip: After playing some rounds you will find that starting with words containing the most used letters in the alphabet (E, A, R, I, O, T, N, S) might help you solve the puzzle faster.

Type in your first guess

Click the "enter" button. The word you entered will get a color hint for each letter:

The color of each letter will tell you if that letter is present in the hidden solution word, and if it is placed in the correct position:

A GRAY letter is not present in the hidden word.
Avoid this letter in your next guess.

A YELLOW letter is in the hidden word,
but in a different position.
Use this letter in your next guess, but move it.

A GREEN letter is in the hidden word,
and you have placed it in the correct position.
Use this letter in your next guess, in the same position.

Use the color hints to guess a new word with the same number of letters. Enter the new word to get further clues for any new letters.

You have 6 chances to guess the right word.

The word puzzle game interface:

Click the play-button on the startup screen.

Select the difficulty level.

The word puzzle appears, and you can start guessing your first word by typing it in with the on-screen keyboard.

Click on the settings-button in the upper right corner to open these game controls: Return to start screen, Open instructions, Sound on/off, Fullscreen on/off.

Click on the person-icon on the startup screen to view your game results so far.
